Immigrant experience topic at German Interest Group meeting

JANESVILLE - The German Interest Group of Wisconsin will meet at 7 p.m. May 7 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2921 Mount Zion Road.

The topic will be "The Immigrant Experience" presented by Viktorija Bilic, an assistant professor of German, Translation and Interpreting Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She will use translations of historical letters to illustrate the American immigrant experience.

Grace Lutheran Church to host Mother's Day Brunch May 13

MONROE - Grace Lutheran Church will be holding a Mother's Day Brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 13. Proceeds will go to the youth travelling to Houston in June.
