Digitize photos at Albany library

ALBANY - Specialized scanning equipment will be available from April 30 to May 5 for patrons to scan and save digital copies of personal photographs, slides or negatives at Albertson Memorial Library.

Scanners will be available for one-hour sessions. Patrons need to bring their own USB device to save their digital photos after scanning is complete. There is no cost to use the equipment.

Call the library at 862-3491 or email albanypl@tds.net to reserve a one-hour session. Library staff will assist patrons with the equipment as much as possible during each session.

Albertson Memorial Library is located at 200 N. Water St. in Albany.

NHCC seeking

volunteers

MONROE - The National Historic Cheesemaking Center and Green County Welcome Center will have a volunteer orientation session at 4 p.m. today for interested new volunteers and returning volunteers at the National Historic Cheesemaking Center campus at the intersection of 21st Street and Wisconsin 69 south.

NHCC volunteers spend just a few hours a month from May 1 to Oct. 31, serving visitors who come to Monroe and Green County. Membership in the National Historic Cheesemaking Center is not required to volunteer.
