The Binder Christmas House has turned County Road FF into a scene out of the North Pole with thousands of lights and other hand-made Christmas decorations.

Visitors can take “Candy Cane Lane” up to the house where they will find iconic holiday characters such as the nutcracker, Santa and his sleigh, and even in-person Mrs. Claus on occasion.

Other large lighting displays can be found around the region, including at Minhas Brewery in Monroe.

The Green County Fairgrounds was home to Evening Lights with Santa Dec. 12. The lighted display replaced the annual Brunch with Santa held at St. Victor’s School. The line of cars circled several blocks, forcing spectators to wait nearly an hour to reach the east entrance to the fairgrounds. A silent auction was also held, and pre-wrapped bags of treats and goodies were distributed to the first 500 children in attendance.
