LAMONT - The Wisconsin Towns Association, along with Rural Insurance Company and Scott Construction Inc., is sponsoring seven scholarships worth a total of $7,500 to graduating high school seniors who are planning to attend a Wisconsin public, private or vocational technical college. The essay topic is "What should town government do to lead Wisconsin through the 21st century?"

Applications are available at all area high schools and information is also available at www.wisctowns.com. The Town of Lamont is a member of the Wisconsin Towns Association and encourages all graduates to apply for the scholarships.
