DARLINGTON - The Lafayette County Fair Committee has announced that the 2009 Lafayette County Fair will take place July 15-19, 2009 at the Lafayette County Fairgrounds, Darlington.
Wayne Wilson, Lafayette County Fair Committee chairperson, stated that the fair committee is still looking to secure grandstand and midway entertainment.
The county fair committee is also looking for a fair secretary, as well as a maintenance director, both to begin this fall.
