MONROE - The local post of the Knights of Columbus announced winners of the 2013 Christmas Poster contest. The Christmas Poster contest, sponsored by Council 1471 of the Knights of Columbus, had 171 posters entries from first through fifth grades at Abraham Lincoln Accelerated Learning Academy, Northside, Parkside and St. Victor schools.
Winning posters from grades first through fourth will be forwarded to the regional competition. The grade five contest is a local contest only. First place winners and honorable mentions are:
