MONROE - Monroe High School's upcoming musical, "Back to the 80s, A Totally Awesome Musical," is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13; 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16 at the school, 1600 26th St.
The show features 25 songs from the 80s and tells the story of Corey Feldman about to attend his 15-year class reunion. He flashes back to remember what his life was like in high school in the late 80s.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and children. Tickets can be purchased at the high school office during school hours and before the performances at the door.
Monroe High School is participating in the Tommy Awards competition sponsored by the Overture Center in Madison. Tommy Awards is a Southern Wisconsin competition patterned after the Tony Awards for Broadway.
