JUDA - A new Bible study begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, at Tim and Jackie Klar's home.
The group will read the book "The Same Kind Of Different as Me." Klar first became aware of the book when it was handed out to the incoming freshman class at Abilene Christian University in 2008. It has since been a New York Times bestseller. The group will do a book study relating to issues like prejudice, homelessness, obedience and what the Bible has to say about the same issues.
Klar's small group is one of many Crossroads Community Church Bible studies taking place daily. Child care is usually available at the Thursday-evening study. Anyone is welcome to join the discussions. Feel free to call Small Group Leader Scott Confer for more information at (815) 275-2608.
