Green County Health and Wellness Day to be June 25
News Brief with BKG

MONROE — The Aging and Disability Resource Center will host a health and wellness day from 9 to 11 a.m. June 25 at the Monroe High School, 1600 26th St. It is an event geared toward providing information to Green County residents on a variety of topics from services related to their health to recreational options, as well as offering a variety of different health screenings.

There will be a limit of 50 vendors set up in the gym. Past participation has been over 200 people. Snacks and coffee will be provided. Many door prizes will be given away.

The ADRC will be assigning booth spaces to vendors, and space is limited so vendors will be accepted based on the date of arrival.  Booths will be arranged in rows in the gym. A vendor map will be available to participants.

Booth set-up times are June 24 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and June 25 starting at 7 a.m. All booths should be in place by 8:45 a.m. A rectangular eight-foot table and one chair will be provided. Vendors should bring their own table covering. Vendors are expected to staff booths throughout the entire event. Vendors may disassemble their exhibits after 11:30 a.m., and are asked to pick up their area.

All vendors must move their vehicles away from the building after unloading so parking spaces closer to the building are available for participants. Booths are encouraged to be interactive.
