MONROE - The Green County Alzheimer's Walk is hosting a silent auction to raise money to support local programs and services provided by the Alzheimer's and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin. The silent auction will be set up and available for bidding from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Friday and from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday. The walk and the auction will take place at the Behring Senior Center, 1113 10th St., Monroe.
Alleda's Crew of New Glarus has been collecting auction donations from area businesses and individuals, as well as monetary donations.
Registration for the walk is from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Friday and from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Participants may choose either the 1-mile or the 2-mile walk. The walk begins at 8:30 a.m. and the awards program begins at 9:45 a.m., at which time the auction will close. One does not need to participate in the walk to participate in the silent auction.
