FREEPORT - Join the fun Thursday, August 7 at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Illinois Classic Golf Scramble at Freeport Country Club.
Foursomes who register by Friday, July 18 will pay $450 for an afternoon of fun including greens fees and a cart, on-course refreshments, games and prizes, lunch and a steak dinner with chocolate fountain treats for dessert. (Singles registering before July 18 will pay $115.) State Rep. Jim Sacia will be the auctioneer for the evening's live auction.
After July 18, the entry fee is $500 for a foursome. Singles can sign up for $125 each, and be matched up with a foursome for the event. Tickets for the dinner and auction only are available for $50 each.
