BARABOO — Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association has announced Bryant Gill was promoted to market manager at the cooperative’s Monroe market. In this role, Gill oversees the Monroe market operations and staff, as well as maintains relationships with producers, truckers and buyers. He will work with producers to understand and meet their livestock marketing needs. Gill previously served as the market’s assistant manager since February.

Gill has an associate’s degree in agricultural business and science technology from Southwest Technical College. He previously managed two other sale barns as well as worked with Pam Jahnke and the Farm Report. Gill lives with his wife in Mineral Point.

Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association is a federated cooperative headquartered in Baraboo. Equity operates 12 auction markets and a private treaty buying center in Arlington. The cooperative has livestock collection points in Ettrick and Menominee, Michigan. Equity services producers in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. The cooperative assists producers with the marketing, managing and financing of their agricultural businesses.
