MONROE - The Monroe Public Library and the Green County Genealogical Society are co-sponsoring Genealogy Work Night at the library from 6:30 to 10 p.m. April 17. The doors will be locked at 6:45 p.m., as the event is being held outside of the library's normal hours.
Held biannually, the event brings genealogists together for uninterrupted research and use of equipment, evening access to the Green County Genealogical Society's collection, exchange of research advice and tips, as well as the enjoyment of refreshments. A special workshop on genetic genealogy is included in this month's event.
