MONROE - The Green County Genealogical Society will host a presentation during its meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Monroe Public Library at 925 16th St., Monroe.
Historian Ruth Anderson will present "Getting the Most Out of Probate Files." Anderson will show what is available in probate files, what it means and how to follow through with more research.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in pursuing a family history. The Green County Research Center will also be open from 1 to 3 p.m. that day at 1609 10th St.
