Gap Church plans three fundraisers

ALBANY — The annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the Gap Church Museum, Inc. and Cemetery Association was held recently. The Board will hold three fundraisers to help cover the costs of repairs needed. 

The 10th annual rummage sale will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 15 inside the community hall. Donation of items are appreciated and are tax deductible. Some restrictions will apply. No electronics or clothing will be accepted. Pick up of items can be arranged. An open house will be held in conjunction with this event.

The 6th Annual Gap Church Bash will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 20 at the church. Activities include a craft/vendor show, food tent, cemetery walks and silent action items.

Annual Gap Church Museum, Inc. Hymn Sing & Open House will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18. The event will be an old-fashioned hymn sing with bluegrass accompaniment. Refreshments and fellowship will follow. The church and cemetery are located four miles west of Albany on Wisconsin 59. The event is free but a freewill offering will be taken.
