MONROE - Matt Figi from the Green County Historical Society will be introducing his latest book at 1 p.m. May 15 at the United Methodist Church, 2227 4th St.
This latest book features over 260 new pictures of historic Monroe and the surrounding area. Figi will present an overview from the 1870s to 2008, with side tours on the making of roads, railroads and cheese. The book will be available for purchase.
Refreshments will follow, provided by the elder council of the church.
