MONROE - Green County lawyer Todd Schluesche will discuss the legal aspects of starting a business or keeping a business running at the Monday, April 7, meeting of the Green County Area Entrepreneurs and Inventors Club.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Monroe Clinic hospital's New Glarus Room, 515 22nd Avenue, Monroe.
Schluesche will present "Legal Considerations for the Small Business Owner."
The program is designed for those people who have started or are thinking of starting their own business.
He will be discussing a number of legal issues that new business owners are confronted with, including organizing the business as a separate legal entity; the differences between the legal entity forms and limitation of the business owner's personal liability. Other areas to be covered are meeting and record-keeping requirements, worker's compensation and employment law issues.

His practice includes forming and advising business entities, estate planning, and real estate. He also has experience in civil litigation, personal injury and family law.
