LENA — Evangelical Free Church-Lena, located at 720 Freedom Street, recently announced the arrival of its new Senior Pastor, Casey Dwyer. 

Pastor Dwyer will preach and preside at worship services (10 a.m.) for the first time on Sunday, July 9. Pastor Dwyer, a graduate of Trinity International University/Trinity Evangelical Divinity School holds a Bachelors and Masters in Divinity. His schooling does include Moody Bible College as well.

 He was formerly the Associate Pastor of Village Church of Lincolnshire, Ill. His ministry focused on discipleship and Christian education for the past three years. Pastor Casey and Danielle have been married for nine years.

“I am thrilled to get the opportunity to serve the Congregation at Evangelical Free Church-Lena as well as the wider Lena community,” Pastor Casey said. “God has called me to shepherd his people, and to share with all people the hope we have in Jesus. We are so honored to get to do that at EFC Lena.” 

A service of installation for Pastor Casey  took  place on June 25 at EFC-Lena.

Evangelical Free Church-Lena, a congregation of the Evangelical Free  Church of America, has served the area  people and communities since 1980.
