MONROE - Donations will be accepted beginning Monday for the Purchase for Paws garage and bake sale. The sale is a fundraiser for the Green County Humane Society.
Sale hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 6 and 7 and from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 8 at 1235 31st Ave., the former Buri Electric building across from Monroe Beverage Mart. The bake sale will be held Oct. 6 only.
Garage sale items can be dropped off at the location from noon until 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday. Bake sale items can be dropped at the back door of the sale location on Wednesday or by 8 a.m. Oct. 6.
Items that cannot be accepted are adult clothing or shoes, computers, printers, outdated microwaves, televisions or ceiling fans. Infant clothing is accepted.
