Darlington: Area youth learn new skills at 4-H Project Day

DARLINGTON - More than 50 4-H youths from all over Lafayette County came together to have a day of discovery, meet new people, learn a new skill, and work on 4-H projects during 4-H Project Day February 16 at the Darlington Elementary/Middle School.

4-H Project Day is an opportunity for youth to practice skills, meet new people and learn about new projects and opportunities. This is also an opportunity for the 4-H youth in Lafayette County to meet other 4-H members from the various 4-H clubs in the county.

Sessions offered at 4-H Project Day included sessions on Scrapbooking, a session for Cloverbuds and Explorers, sewing, archery, science exploration, dog agility and training, horses, photography, rabbits, flowers, horticulture, arts and crafts, cats and meat animal quality assurance.
