Country jam to benefit GCHS is Saturday

MONROE - A country jam featuring bands Horsefeathers and Country 4 set for Saturday, Nov. 15 will benefit the local animal shelter.

Leisure Lanes is sponsoring the live music event to benefit the Green County Humane Society. The evening will feature Country 4 performing at 6:30 p.m., Horsefeathers at 8:30 p.m. and a Country Jam from 10:30 p.m. until midnight.

The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle. A donation of $2 at the door is requested.

GCHS operates a no-kill animal shelter at 1500 6 1/2 Ave. in Monroe. Hours of operation are from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. It is closed Monday, Wednesday and holidays.
