MONROE — The City of Monroe will sponsor a blood drive with the American Red Cross from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 11 in the Park and Rec Community Center, downstairs of City Hall.
An estimated 38 percent of Americans are eligible to give blood, but of those, less than 10 percent actually donate each year. If you are healthy and eligible, please come out to donate. Most donations take about an hour. If you don’t know if you’re eligible, show up to find out. Those who cannot donate blood have an option to volunteer.
With questions, contact Arianna Voegeli, blood drive coordinator, at avoegeli@cityofmonroe.org or 608-329-2530.
