MONROE — Green County Cheese Days is looking for volunteers to fill shifts in several areas prior to and during the festival. Volunteer opportunities include:
Beer Tent — serving beer and wine; various shifts open Saturday and Sunday.
Retail Tent — selling merchandise Friday, Saturday and Sunday; clean up on Sunday night.
Parade — assisting with activities at the Fairgrounds on Sunday, and also monitoring intersections along the route while the parade takes place.
Arts and Crafts — assisting with vendor setup early on Friday morning, and helping to staff the headquarters during the day on Friday and Saturday.
Cheese Tent –— crowd and line control.
Helpers are also needed for clean up from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 16.

All volunteers receive a commemorative t-shirt, and the gratitude of hundreds of cheese lovers who will be here to celebrate over the festival weekend.
