MONROE — The Monroe community and the American Red Cross are teaming up to host a blood drive from 11:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 2227 4th St., Monroe. The Red Cross urges all donors of all blood types to give blood in support of kids fighting cancer, patients with sickle cell disease and others facing serious illnesses.
The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Download the Red Cross Blood Donor App on the App Store, Google Play or text BLOODAPP to 90999. Schedule appointments, get rewards and invite friends to join you on a lifesaving team.
