Steve and Cindy Bechtolt, South Wayne, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Bechtolt, to Andrew Caruso, son of Roland and Anita Caruso, Freeport.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Black Hawk High School. She earned a bachelor of education degree in physical education with an emphasis in heath and human performance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2011. She is employed as an educator at The Goddard School in Hawthorn Woods, Ill.
The groom-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Freeport High School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice from St. Ambrose University in 2008. He is employed as a benefit coordinator at West Lake Financial Group in Buffalo Grove, Ill.
The couple will be married Aug. 18, 2012 at St. John's United Church of Christ, Monroe. A reception and dance will follow at The Masonic Temple, Freeport.
