BARABOO - Badgerland Financial awards $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors interested in pursuing post-secondary studies in agriculture or an agriculture-related field at a short course, technical school or college.

Applicants must live within the 33-county area served by Badgerland Financial.

Applications are available upon request from any Badgerland Financial office, including Darlington and Janesville, or from high school agriculture instructors or guidance counselors or for download at www.badgerlandfinancial.com.

Applications must be postmarked by March 9, 2009. Payment is made after Badgerland Financial receives proof of completion of the first semester.
