Artisans Gallery to host GCHS benefit

BRODHEAD - The public is invited to watch area artists creating unique works of art from noon until 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at Artisans On The Square Folk Art Gallery, 923 W. Exchange St., Brodhead, to benefit the Green County Humane Society.

All art created during the day will be auctioned off at about 5 p.m. by Larry Keller Auctions.

Artisans volunteering for the fundraiser are: Rafaela (Rae) Wickstrum of Brodhead, sculptor-painter; George Buol of Monroe, woodcarver; David Germain of Freeport, wood craftsman; Glenna Oleson of Merrimac, stained glass; Gloria Suiter of Brodhead, penny rugs; Pam Moller of Beloit, fabric artist; Heather Bluemel of Brodhead, painter; and Dale Sinderson of Harvard, Ill., outsider artist.

GCHS is located at 1500 6 1/2 Ave. in Monroe. Shelter hours are from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
