Stateline luncheon set for Dec. 14
MONROE - The Stateline Women's Connection and Stonecraft Ministries is sponsoring the "Holly Daze" Luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 at the Peppercorn Banquets, Ludlow Mansion, 1417 Mansion Drive.
The event is $8 and features holiday fashions presented by das Baumhaus.
The speaker is Holly Berry from Minneapolis, Minn., who will discuss "Playing for Keeps."

Santa to visit village on Saturday
ALBANY - The Village of Albany will be welcoming Santa at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Albany Lions Club, 402 N. Cincinnati St., Albany.
Santa will arrive in a fire truck and travel around the town first before he arrives at the Lion Club building.
The visit with Santa and a treat bag are free to the public. The Friends of the Albertson Memorial Library will be offering activities at a small cost. Activities include a crafts table, food stand, children's shopping area, games for prizes, raffle table, face art and holiday tattoos.
The Friends of the Albertson Memorial Library partnered with the Village of Albany Board and the Albany Lions Club to sponsor the event.
