Virgil and Carol Leopold, Monroe, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 4, 2013.

The couple's children are Lynnette (Kent) Bruckner, Richland Center, and Rick (Vicki) Leopold, Galena, Ill. The couple's grandchildren are Colleen Bruckner, Clayton Bruckner and Allyson Lammers-Leopold. Gabe Davis is the couple's great-grandchild.
An open house celebration will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4 at Turner Hall, Monroe. The couple will be taking donations for the Green County Food Pantry.
