Larry (Ron) and Vicki Kurschner, Blanchardville, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on February 1, 2009. Ron and Vicki were united in marriage at the Blanchardville Lutheran Church. An open house will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Quality Inn hotel in Mineral Point. The public is invited to attend. There will be a special performance by "Four Guyz in Dinner Jackets."

The couples children are Ronald (Cherie) Kurschner, Ranee Kurschner, Rodney (Jayne) Kurschner, Reginald Kurschner and Ryan (Jessica) Kurschner. Their children Roger, Roxanne and Rochelle and one grandson are deceased. They have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
