Marvin and Jean Busjahn celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 25. Marvin Busjahn and the former Jean Kinney were married on April 25, 1964.

The couple's children are Kristy, Kathy, Kurt and Duane.

A surprise open house for the couple, hosted by their children, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Hall, 211 State St., Durand, Ill. The children ask that no presents are brought.
