Lyle and Joyce Fischer, Blanchardville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house the afternoon of Feb. 3 at Lafayette County Christian Center's new fellowship hall at the corner of County K and Center Hill Road on the south side of Darlington.

They were married Feb. 11, 1958 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Boscobel.

The Fischers have four children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

They have farmed all their married life, the last 37 years in rural Blanchardville and Argyle Township.
