ARGYLE - Various events will be held throughout Argyle on June 27 as part of the 76th annual Fish Fry.
The event supper menu includes deep-fried fish, french fries, coleslaw and trimmings. The event will also include live music from the Rowe Bros. Band from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Argyle-Adams Firehouse. The Fish Fry will be held rain or shine.
Beginning at 2 p.m., there will be a duck race that will start at Steve's Garage and finish at Robert Wenger boat landing. Prizes will be awarded, and tickets are available at various places throughout Argyle. The event will be held weather permitting.
A drawing for cash prizes and door prizes will be held at 10 a.m. at the Good Fellas Tavern. Proceeds will go towards the Argyle Lions Club.
The benefit "Run for Fun for Elliot Larson" 5K run/walk will be held at the Argyle Legion Park shelter at 8 a.m. with registration starting at 7:30 a.m. For early registration, email adamsargylechruch@gmail.com or contact Laura Anderson at 608-214-0171.
