MONROE - The Green County 4-H Program held a design the banner contest for display at the Wisconsin State Fair. This opportunity was available to any 4-H member in the Green County Program to take part in. After the designs were selected for the two sided banner, members of the Green County 4-H Home and Family Committee took the designs to make into a 4-H promotional quilt.

Winners of the contest included Anna Sherman, Firefly 4-H and Jared Haring, Five Corner Clovers 4-H. They each earned a $25 cash award for their efforts. Sherman's design is on one side of the flag and Haring's design is on the other side of the flag. The banner will be permanently displayed at the Wisconsin State Fair, Thursday, July 31, to Sunday, Aug. 10, in West Allis.
