DARLINGTON - The second annual 5k Glow Run and Emergency Night Out, held on Sept. 27, had 160 registered runners/walkers, compared to 130 registered runners/walkers in 2013.
About $2,000 was raised for the Darlington Police K9 Fund.
Emergency services displayed equipment, the Darlington Optimist Club and Darlington Redbird Cheerleaders provided food and beverages, and demonstrations were given by the Dane County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad and K9 and the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department and Darlington Police Department.
