Running for UW Scholarships
Running for UW Scholarships
Contestants start out the Red Run 5K sponsored by the University of Wisconsin Alumni Club of Green County at Twining Park on Monday. All proceeds go toward scholarships for students planning to attend UW. There were 16 participants in the 5K and 14 in the kids' runs. Berg will compete at Olympic trials
University of Wisconsin junior swimmer Marissa Berg will compete in the 50-meter freestyle during the Olympic Trials on Saturday in Omaha, Nebraska. Michael Phelps and Missy Franklin won't be the only swimmers to watch in this week's Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska. Monticello native Marissa Berg also will compete in the trials.
