Donkey Basketball Show
Donkey Basketball Show
About 450 people attended the Dairyland Donkey Basketball Show at Albany High School School on Friday night. Albany junior Owen Boss is thrown to the floor by his donkey during a game against Evansville FFA at Albany High School Friday night. The event was sponsored by the Albany FFA and all of the proceeds were for the benefit of the Albany FFA Chapter activities. Evansville and Albany FFA teams faced off first, followed by a game pitting the Oregon FFA against Albany staff and alumni. A championship game capped the evening. One of the rules of donkey basketball is that a player has to be on his or her donkey in order to pass or shoot the ball. (Times photo: Marissa Weiher)
