The Monroe girls track team's 1,600-meter relay team won the race at the Monona Grove Invitational Friday and set a meet record by finishing in a time of 4 minutes, 4.1 seconds. Monroe High School senior Jordan Hirsbrunner had a night on the track she will never forget at the WIAA Division 2 McFarland sectional on Thursday.
Hirsbrunner won sectional titles in three individual events - the 100-meter hurdles (15.08 seconds), the 300 hurdles (44.52) and high jump (5 feet, 4 inches). Friday, May 26, 2017
