Running for UW Scholarships
Running for UW Scholarships
Contestants start out the Red Run 5K sponsored by the University of Wisconsin Alumni Club of Green County at Twining Park on Monday. All proceeds go toward scholarships for students planning to attend UW. There were 16 participants in the 5K and 14 in the kids' runs. Singles tourney signup begins
Signup for the city singles tournament, the first of two summer tennis tournaments, is underway.

The city singles tennis tournament is slated for July 9-10.

Backing the Badgers
The 63rd annual Monroe Badger Days is more than cheese, meeting University of Wisconsin coaches and bragging about the Badgers success on the field, court and ice.

Colony Brands President and CEO John Baumann said Monroe Badger Days will fund two more scholarships next season in a push to raise $1 million in five years to fund scholarships for UW student-athletes.
