Monroe White earns second-place finish
Monroe White earns second-place finish
The 13-year-old Monroe White baseball team finished second in a league tournament July 19-20 in Marshall. Ten teams played in the two-day tournament. Monroe White lost their first game 7-6 against McFarland White in the seventh inning but came back and won their next four games to make it to the championship game. Monroe White lost in the championship to Cottage Grove 10-9 in the seventh inning.
