15-year-old baseball team earns 2nd place
15-year-old baseball team earns 2nd place
The Monroe 15-year-old baseball team took second place in the VFW Teener League tournament Sunday in Columbus. Monroe defeated Waterloo 13-3 in the quarterfinals and defeated Fort Atkinson Juniors 13-4 in the semifinals to advance to the championship game. The Cheesemakers fell to the Fort Atkinson 15-year-old team 11-1.
