Zilmer-Riley American Legion Unit No. 84 Friday night fish fry with Norwegian meatballs, pie night, serving 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., 1627 12th Ave., Monroe.

Preschool story time, 9:30 a.m., Albertson Memorial Library, 200 N. Water St., Albany.

Diana Vance book signing, "The Heart of a Lion," 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Turner Hall Ratskeller, 1217 17th Ave., Monroe.

Spaghetti dinner benefit, sponsored by Gratiot Evangelical Free Church, 5 to 7 p.m., Gratiot Community Center, Main Street, Gratiot. All donations, including monetary and/or food items, appreciated. Supper benefits the South Wayne Food Pantry. Needed items: cereal, macaroni and cheese and toilet paper.

Fall bazaar and craft show, sponsored by the Senior Citizens Program of Belleville, Exeter and Montrose, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., St. Mary's Church hall, 227 Frederick St., Belleville. Feature: quilt raffle, craft sale, Packer football raffle, door prizes, bake sale and lunch stand. First 100 visitors will receive door prizes from Subway. Santa visiting at 11 a.m.

17th annual Tree-Trimming Party, hosted by Monroe Public Library, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., library, 925 16th Ave. Info: call (608) 328-7010.

All-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, 8 a.m. to noon, Moose Lodge, 639 3rd Ave., Monroe. Cost: $7. Proceeds will benefit Family Promise of Green County.

AFS intercultural scholarship program exchange students presentation, 2 to 3:30 p.m., lower level of Monroe City Hall, 1110 18th Ave., Monroe. Monroe and Argyle international exchange students speak about life in their countries of Tajikistan, Mozambique, Indonesia and Egypt. The public is welcome.

Thanksgiving service and dinner, hosted by First Baptist Church of Monroe. Service at 10:45 a.m. at the church, 853 31st Ave., Monroe. Dinner at 1 p.m. at Northside Elementary School, 3005 8 1/2 St., Monroe. Meal is free for anyone. Info: (608) 325-3867.
