Free ice cream social, live music by Del Heins, 1:30 p.m., Twining Valley 55+ Retirement Community, 700 8th Ave., Monroe. Open to the public.

Spaghetti supper, hosted by the Monroe Garden Club, 4 to 7:30 p.m., Monroe Moose Lodge, 639 3rd Ave. Menu: spaghetti and meat sauce, green salad, garlic bread, beverage, homemade pie and dessert. Cost: $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 4 to 12. Carry-outs available. Tickets available from any garden club member, at the door or by calling (608) 328-3079. Proceeds are used for community projects.
