Beverly Lorraine (Terry) Aurand, 89, of Monroe passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Monroe Clinic Hospice Home. She was born on February 20, 1928, the daughter of Charles and Minnie (Moore) Terry in Chicago, IL. Beverly was united in marriage to John Frank Westfall in May of 1953 in Elgin, IL; he preceded her in death on February 17, 1966. On April 20, 1968 she married her beloved companion, Arthur Louis Aurand.
Beverly was a graduate of Elgin High School and Selan's School of Cosmetology in Chicago. She worked as a beautician, but will be most remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother.
Beverly actively served as one of Jehovah's Witnesses for more than 65 years.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur; children, Diana (Timothy) Beaton of Monroe, Lori (Steven) Grinnell of Monroe, Ginene (Joseph Ichkhan) Westfall of Redondo Beach, CA, Barbara (Carl Johnson) Westfall of Mount Horeb, Julianna Bendickson of Inglewood, CA, and John (Kristin) Westfall of Madison; step-children, Frances (Kirk) Marschke of Sleepy Hollow, IL and Phillip Aurand of Dundee, IL; 11 grandchildren, Alyssa, Abigail, Peter, Courtney, Sacha, Tahnee, Calder, Tex, Nicolette, Jeffrey, and Catherine; 5 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Mackenzie, Madigan, Joelle, and Nolan; brother, Charles G. Terry of Elgin, IL; and sister-in-law, Delores Allen of Sycamore, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband, John.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, N3073 Hwy 59, Monroe, with Michael Plucinski officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday at the Kingdom Hall from 2:00 pm until the time of service. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
