A semi rollover with no injuries shut down a lane of traffic on Illinois 26 just south of Oneco Road roughly a mile north of Orangeville at about 8 a.m. Feb. 20, according to the Illinois State Police. The driver, Edward Washburn, 62, Edmonton, Kentucky, was northbound when he lost control and went into the ditch. The semi and the tanker full of Roundup herbicide it was hauling tipped over, but no Roundup spilled. Crews were still working to clear the scene and pump the Roundup into a new tanker as of mid-afternoon. The Orangeville Fire Department, Stephenson County Sheriff's Office, Illinois Department of Transportation and Stephenson County Emergency Management assisted Illinois State Police at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
