Annual Cadiz Cleanup
Annual Cadiz Cleanup
The Friends of Cadiz Springs held their annual cleanup day on May 13. Joining them this year as a community service project was the Next Generation and Hiawatha 4-H clubs of Green County. The groups painted stair rails, picked up trash and sticks, walked the trail for downed trees and trash, cleaned grills, swept out bathrooms and shelters, cleaned up the volleyball area and hung the net, raked the beach and play area, put down new mulch and built a new swingset at one of the shelter houses before enjoying a picnic lunch. For more information about the Friends of Cadiz, contact Bryan Buri at 608-966-1515. For information on joining a 4-H club, contact the Green County educator, Ellen Andrews, at 608-328-9440.
