Dogs provide comfort at Monroe Clinic
Monroe Clinic volunteer Angie Studnicka visits with Emma and her owner Kay Carter at Monroe Clinic on Monday. Emma, a therapy dog for Paws for Healing, has been visiting patients and staff at the clinic for a year. Emma has been a therapy dog for three years and also makes hospice visits. Each week for nearly a year, dogs from Monroe Clinic's therapy dog program have comforted patients and staff alike.
