Wisconsin Republicans are looking to toughen the state’s alcohol regulations for breweries, distillers, distributors and retailers and create a new office to enforce liquor laws. Do you think the change is a good idea?

Yes, current statutes aren’t being enforced.

Kayaking on the Sugar River
Kayaking on the Sugar River
Rick Veeder gets a push from his friend Sue Fiorucci, both of Albany, while spending part of the day kayaking in the Sugar River in Albany May 18. Fiorucci said she moved to Albany about three years ago and it was Veeder who taught her how to kayak. The two have gone kayaking regularly when the weather is nice, but this was the first time Fiorucci had gone since having a full hip replacement five months ago. "I like the freedom and the silence of the river," Fiorucci said. "You can see pretty houses from the river you can't see from the road." (Times photo: Marissa Weiher)
